Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Transwarp collects, how it is collected, how it is used, and when it may be shared with AI service providers.

Data we collect

Account data: when you sign in, we collect account identifiers, email address, display name, authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in, and basic account status.

Chat data: when you use remote AI chat, Transwarp may send your prompt and recent conversation context so the assistant can produce a relevant response. Conversation history may also be stored locally on your device.

Voice data: microphone access is used only after you start voice interaction and grant iOS microphone permission. Speech recognition is handled locally before the resulting transcript is used like typed chat text.

App and device context: we may process app version, locale, time zone, and diagnostic context needed to operate the service and troubleshoot failures.

How data is collected

Data is collected directly from actions you take in the app, including signing in, typing prompts, starting voice interaction, using translation utilities, and submitting support requests.

Remote AI features are blocked until the app shows an AI data sharing notice and you choose to allow sharing with the listed AI services.

How we use data

We use account data to authenticate you, maintain your session, protect access to your workspace, and support account deletion requests.

We use chat prompts, conversation context, and voice transcripts to generate assistant replies, stream assistant actions, maintain conversation continuity, and provide translation results.

We use app and diagnostic context to operate, secure, debug, and improve Transwarp.

Third-party AI services

Transwarp may share prompts, recent conversation context, voice transcripts after local speech recognition, account identifiers, email, display name, app version, locale, and time zone with Transwarp/MyHome AI services for signed-in chat.

Translation utilities may send the text you ask to translate to DeepSeek when that provider is configured for the app.

We require third-party service providers that process personal data for Transwarp to protect that data with the same or equal level of protection described in this policy and to use it only for providing the requested service.

Account deletion

You can initiate account deletion in the Transwarp app from Settings, Account, Delete account. The flow asks for confirmation, requests deletion from our backend services, deletes the Firebase authentication account, signs you out, removes local conversations from the device, and revokes AI data sharing consent.

If you need help with deletion, contact us at transwarp@transwarp.tech. Customer support is optional and is not required to initiate deletion in the app.

Retention and choices

Local conversation history stays on your device unless you delete it or delete your account. Server-side records are retained only as needed to operate the service, meet security requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

You can decline AI data sharing. If you decline, remote AI chat, voice transcript processing by remote AI, and translation features that require a remote AI provider will not send personal data to those AI services.
